Supporting Classroom Libraries
1. Inspiring the Love of Reading!
As a new teacher, Yovana wants to ensure her classroom library is updated with a wide variety of books for her students. She wishes to give students the choice to select the book they read and inspire them to love reading. Yovana has received some funds to her $500 goal!
2. Buying Books Her Students Will Love
This Teacher Appreciation Week Hope’s excited to gift her students with a book to celebrate taking two important end of year tests. Hope needs $270 to reach her goal to get books into the hands of each of her eighth graders so they can continue to read books they love.

3. Supporting a Book Vending Machine
Courtney is dedicated to getting students a book of their choice. The goal of the book vending machine is to have a diverse collection of books of many levels and languages! Courtney plans to reward students who reach their reading goal with a book from the book vending machine.
4. Buying Books Her Students Adore
A reading teacher for students in kindergarten through fifth grade, Meghan plans to raise funds to send books home for the summer. Many of Meghan's students do not see themselves as readers. However, Meghan plans to change that by gifting a book that is just right for each individual.
5. Bringing Fantasy Books to the Classroom
Mary is launching a fantasy reading unit in her class in which students will dive into interesting topics like Greek, Egyptian, and Norse mythology. Students will be encouraged to learn about different topics and explore fantasy-themed books. Help Mary build a robust fantasy books collection in her classroom and grow lifelong readers!

6. Creating a More Diverse Classroom Library
Sara would like to build a diverse classroom library in which every child can pick a book with characters that look like themselves. She would also like to expand her library with a wider selection of texts from different genres like nonfiction and history. Help Sara reach her $400 goal, so each child has reading materials they enjoy.

7. Sending Books Home for Summer
Renee loves teaching fifth grade at American Leadership Academy! She would like to help her students build a habit of reading for pure pleasure by sending books home this summer. Each students would get to choose a book that matches their interest. Become a Book Fairy and help Renee raise $100 to keep her students’ reading all summer long.

8. Upgrading Danielle's Classroom Library
Danielle teaches a group of young adults and would like her classroom library to reflect a wide range of grade levels and genres. What's more, Danielle would like to send each student with a book they enjoy. Help Danielle reach her goal of raising $1000 and support growing the love of reading and learning!
9. Influencing Futures — With Books
Holly believes that an empowering book can have a great influence on a child’s level of confidence and help them reach new heights. Holly wants to gift each one of her kindergarten students with a copy of I Knew You Could! You can help each child build a love of reading by contributing to Holly's campaign.

10. Building a Bilingual Library
Sheila wants to add bilingual books into her classroom library and help her ELL (English language learner) students feel valued and respected for their knowledge of the world. Additionally, Sheila will use these books to host activities and find a cultural and linguistic application. You can make a world of difference by helping her reach her campaign goal of $300.
